Irlandés Reposado greets you with dazzling hues of honey. Opening notes of vanilla specks and just baked pan dulce bloom into aromas of dried apple and Los Altos agave rested in toasted American oak. The finish is gently laced with the satisfying comfort of stone ground cocoa beans and warm, delicate spices. This tequila sets the stage to persuade our senses to slow down and savor every moment.

The Story:
Irlandés Tequila honors the brave soldiers of the Irish San Patricios Battalion who traveled to Mexico in 1847 to fight alongside the courageous young Mexican soldiers, Los Niños Heroes, the Heroic Sons to make glorious history together. It is in essence celebrating gallantry, grit and valor. Original. Authentic. Pure. The taste of freedom.
In 1847, the two unlikely forces of six Mexican boys and 50 Irish soldiers found themselves defending the flag of Mexico. Together. They were hopelessly outnumbered.
Francis O’Connor, a dying soldier from the Irish battalion, was annointed by a Mexican priest with holy water he had carried with him from a sacred well in his motherland. (Incredibly, it is this water from that exact same source, that Irlandés Tequila is made with.)
Among the many other feats of valor that day, one boy, Juan Escutia, defied his captors, wrapped himself in his nation’s flag and leapt to his death from the top of Chapultepec Castle in front of the Irish fighters, uniting Ireland and Mexico.
